Our annual mulch sale is our biggest fundraiser of the year and allows the troop to offer many experiences that benefit you directly.  These events are "all hands on deck" so please clear your schedules and save these dates.  

Summer is gone, and the Troop is gearing up for another great year of Scouting. 

First regular troop meeting will be on Monday, September 8

• 7:00-8:30 PM
• Demarest Hall at Sparta United Methodist Church
• Full Scouts BSA field uniform (more commonly known as our Class A uniform) unless otherwise noted via email communication.

We meet EVERY Monday unless:

• Sparta Schools are closed both Monday and the next day.
• Sparta afterschool programs are cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
• We make a decision to cancel the meeting for some reason.

First camping trip will be September 26-28.  Location to be determined.

Other important dates to put into your calendars:

• October 4 and 5 - ticket sales dates for our Spaghetti Dinner
• October 11 and 12 - ticket sales dates for our Spaghetti Dinner
• October 17-19 - Camping - Location TBD
• October 25 - Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser
• November 6, 7, 8, 9 - Annual four-day Teacher's Convention Camping Extravaganza
• December 1 - Volunteer at German Christmas Market
• December 8 - Adopt-a-family shopping night
